About this business

The Wild Thaiger is a culinary expedition for Thai flavors. It is a superb Thai restaurant of prominence in the city's social scene. On the menu are homemade specialties prepared from the freshest ingredients. Complement your meal with chilled beers and fine wines. The cocktails are a delight as well. While the assortment of rice and noodle are patron’s favorites, the appetizers and curries are also in great demand.

Avoid it – Yuck - the food was not good - at the very least, stay away from the chicken dishes or else be prepared to steadily chew. While the wait staff was good, the food took quite a while to serve. For the price, I wouldn't consider it cheap eats, but more on the medium range. If you're looking for something quick, cheap and good, this is not the place.

Great thai food This is a great restaurant to go for lunch and dinner. The gaprao gai is excellent along with the other food dishes. The staff are very friendly. They have an outside covered area along with the inside area. The outside has misters which are great during the summertime.

Thai delight I have developed a deep love for Thai food by going to this place. There pad Thai is excellent and so are the many curries that they have. The service is great and food is served pretty quickly. The place is located in downtown Phoenix and we often get lunch from here. Anything aspect that I like is that food is not very greasy or cheesy and so is friendly on the waistline too

Thai Yum! We haven't experienced Wild Thaiger as a sit-down restaurant, but we often get take out from this establishment. My husband always opts for a spicy curry and I get whatever daily special they are running. The chefs and kitchen staff are experienced and the food is great as a result. Located downtown, this is a convenient place to go if you are visiting the art museum, the central library, or any of the other great attractions in the area. If you are going on a Friday or around lunch hour (there are a lot of office ... read more

My favorite restaurant in the Phoenix valley. – eals are fresh made and full of flavor. Great variety of foods, mild too spicy and everything in-between. They will gladly tone down or spice up your meal to suit your taste. The soups are very good, try the Tom Ka Gai, fantastic, it takes time to prepare and well worth the wait. The Pla Gung Spicy Thai Prawn Salad is one of my favorites. Try their homemade coconut ice cream, great after a spicy meal, or chocolate cake. This place can get packed, so plan on it and you wont be u... read more

Decent place to eat. I had never eaten Thai food before when I came here but I thought this place was really good. The service was fantastic, the environment was great, everything was quick, the place wasn't too crowded, and the menu was easy for me to understand. They have a great Thai tea. The only complaint I had was with parking. I got a ticket for parking in their parking lot (?) and they don't have much parking at all.

Good restaurant for Thai food – My ideal choice for Asian food if you are looking for a restaurant in the downtown Phoenix area near Central Ave. Their lunch menu is like a fast food menu tailored to busy business people so I recommend ordering from the dinner menu but you must call in your order first before arriving. I ate here for lunch with three co-workers but ordered from the dinner menu. I had tropical fried rice, which was really good. One of my co-workers ordered peanut chicken and it has nice flavor. Another ordere... read more

Southwest Asian cuisine hits the downtown dining scene. – In Short Lemongrass, green papaya and coconut milk may not yet be staples of the typical downtown diner's diet--but they soon could be. The bunches who lunch chow down on pad thai, curries and the like in a space decorated with various homeland tchotchkes and a tiger mural painted by the chef/owner herself. The restaurant features an open kitchen and expansive patio. Affordable and convenient for pre-theater and pre-sports dining.
