10/10! Kayaking Lake Tahoe was on my bucket list and man was it worth it. Came from the east coast and originally booked for a different day but Kaylee reached out first thing the next morning to advise that the weather on the day I booked wouldn’t be favorable and helped me get out on the water within just a couple of hours. Literally made a dream come true for me
Well worth the fun and workout! Their staff recommended spots we could paddle to; we had a wonderful afternoon. All I can recommend is to prep with water and sunscreen!
Kaylee was great and our clear bottom kayak was so much fun and so pretty! We went at 9 am and it was so calm and peaceful out on the water! Thank you for helping me and my bestie enjoy our last morning on the lake! ☺️ I look forward to coming back for a SUP!!!
Tahoe blue waters and clear kayak, check. For the amount spent a self guided solo tour of the shore felt a bit cheated. My time got pushed back 20 minutes, which I didn’t have to extend so ending up cutting my time short. Kayak paddles were super short making it tough to navigate choppy waters — I did ask if any others, but owner only had those provided by the company. Letting others know before what I wish I did!
The crew gave us a fairly quick, east to follow kayaking lesson, the set us up with solid gear: kayaks, a couple of helmets, paddles, and life vests. The weather and water conditions were great. Views were awesome. I'd say expect to get splashed even if you never flip the kayak, and trust me, single kayaks are the way to go so everyone can paddle at their own pace. All in all the company was fine, the owners and staff were good. We had a pretty fun time.
