This is personal but I had a heart episode while in the shampoo bowl and went unresponsive. I woke up to a lot of EMT’s that couldn’t get vitals. The staff at the salon were so unbelievably wonderful and caring! I cannot say enough good things about the staff. And the haircut was top notch h as well!!!! If it weren’t fir their quick and caring actions I wouldn’t be here today. God bless the establishment and staff
I visited Olive Salon in Jacksonville, NC, starting in October 2024 for balayage to lighten my black hair to light brown. Each visit was overpriced, with my most recent appointment July 2025 appointment costing over $450. My hair was over-toned to an unwanted ash brown, and the stylist told me to wait until my next visit to fix it. Lisa F. did an amazing job on my hair! I thoroughly enjoyed the appointment and the effort she put into cutting and styling my hair. My hair is normally so thick but she took the time to do it like any other head of hair. I will be back again!

There is never any question as to where to go for our hair services! The ladies here are phenomenal. We have never left disappointed or questioning our hair lol! We have a family of curly haired girls and I went with them for my boring dark straight hair and they brought it to life with color. I did not experience any damage despite the hours long process to get my hair to where I wanted it. I love it here. The vibe is welcoming and fun and relaxing.
