Once again I'm crossing America from one point to another. Once again I'm hungry for steak. Unfortunately for me, I chose to land in Rock Springs, Wyoming for this review, where I found only one steak restaurant option this late hour. As you know, its usually ribsteak or nothing. For some strange reason this place offers only sirloin (Icky) as their cut option. Tired and hungry I decided to take a chance. Bad call. We stopped in for lunch. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food came out fast, good portions, and tasty. One of the waiters was very good with kids, and we appreciated watching him make ballon animals.
Ordered the french dip with fries. French dip was okay - nothing special. The fries were greasy and soggy. Waitress was good though. Just nothing special about the place. I probably should have been safer and gone with the salad bar!
I've eaten here the last couple times I've been in Rock Springs and it's become my go-to restaurant every time I'm in Rock Springs. Each time I've ordered a sirloin steak and it was cooked perfectly every time. Service has been excellent each time I've been there as well.
