It has taken me years to write this review because I needed distance to speak clearly rather than emotionally. Unfortunately, our experience with Katie was deeply disappointing. Communication became a serious issue the week before our wedding. I was unable to reach her at all and had to contact a mutual friend just to get a response. Kate did an amazing job on a tin type portrait of my partner and cat and I. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and guided us through the process. She was so accommodating for our cat and we got an amazing portrait I’ll treasure forever. It’s such a unique experience and I couldn’t reccomend her enough. Thank you!
Was really hopeful Kate would be a great service for our wedding but was disappointed. My wife set clear expectations for what she wanted and we got the opposite. We didn’t get any “teasers” that she said we’d get early and then didn’t get us our photos in time which was 3 over months after the wedding. The were pictures missing from our list we hoped we would get and also had about half that could have been better without any of her edits. Kate was an absolute joy to work with and was so sweet to my dog I brought to the session. I love the tintype she created of us. What a treat of a keepsake!
