Melanie Hawkins our realtor was absolutely awesome. Anytime there was a problem or a question she would say and I quote "if I don't know the answer I will find someone that does". Along with our loan officer Erin was full of knowledge and extremely helpful with information. I would suggest to work with those two any day of the week. The escrow and underwriting team was just awful. We almost backed out of the contract several times because of them and how they treated their jobs, in a level of terrible proficiency.
Great neighborhood! This builder uses the cheapest materials from bathroom fixtures to light bulbs. They don’t fix anything as well. I have raw material showing on my staircase. Also, a huge gap between the tub and tile. Drywall screws are coming through everywhere. They said it was normal, but I don’t think it is. They installed the cheapest sprinkler system. The home buying process was a complete joke with Richmond, Darrel the lender was the most unprofessional human I’ve ever met, didn’t care about us or our experience and was very hard to get ahold of. Richmond lied about the elevation on our home and we have signed documents proving the elevation. They did nothing to help us with the mess up, told us either walk or buy the house. Unless you're prepared to fix things they messed up on your own, do not do it. There were no outlets for the sprinklers nor the stove. When we called, they ignored us for 3 weeks which we then fixed on our own and only reached back after the fact. Our rod got broken on move in day which we had to fix after we were ignored for three weeks. On two occasions we were told the superintendent was going to come of which he did not.
