For two months, I dealt with debilitating inflammation in one of my knees due to a torn meniscus. Daily NSAIDS aren't an option for me, so I went to Maura for acupuncture. Within two days of receiving electroacupuncture, my inflammation was so reduced that I could return to short walks and long swims. I hadn't been able to do either prior to Maura's treatment. She does a thorough evaluation of your needs before you're on the table, is professional and checks in with you on pressure and any areas that may be off limits for you, and creates a calm, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
