In town and went to get cupcakes. I was super excited about seeing them and heard such great reviews about them.. got them to go and unfortunately the cupcakes were dry…. The frosting was good but the cake part was very dry… little disappointed as spent $42 plus dollars with tip of 25%…. Took a mid-afternoon drive to this spot on a quest for desserts and was not disappointed. Truly a hidden gem with a full cafe, a large dessert selection along with a beautiful nursery and gift store. My traveling companion and I selected four desserts to share - a molasses cookie, a pecan/chocolate/coconut pie, a cherry turnover, and a twisted almond pastry. The wedding cakes I ordered were gorgeous and delicious. We kept things simple and elegant for our garden wedding. The main cake had three tiers with different flavors and succulents for decorations, and the groom's cake was a tree stump in keeping with our nature theme.
