Had the Carolina casserole and a cafe mocha. Both were excellent. Place was quiet in the early afternoon, lovely atmosphere
Today I changed my positive opinion of the Wild Egg restaurant in Avon, IN. My friend and I went there for brunch. We arrived at 1:50; the restaurant closes at two in the afternoon. Unaware that it was so close to closing, my friend and I entered. The young lady at the front entry made me aware of the time. I apologized for coming in so close to closing and offered to return on another day. She assured us that it was ok as long as we ordered our meal before two o'clock. Waitress talked to her friends at another table the entire time and even sat down with them and ate their food. She loudly complained that she was expected to bus tables and every table in the dinning room had trash and plates stacked on it to the point that the hostess had to bus tables to seat people.
Emma was our server and Julie helped us with something else. This place is awesome and we're definitely going to return.
