Excellent service! Have all your needs for wildlife. Had a very hard to find item for a 25+ year old hummingbird feeder. Bill and all the girls were so very helpful. Need to check them out and give them a try before you shop those big box stores.
It is so wonderful to have these knowledgeable and fun folks in our neighborhood. I no longer have to make the trek into Dallas for birding supplies. It is too much fun going into this store. Even my non-birding husband enjoys the visits.
I'm the owner of WBU TImonium and Yelp has the wrong phone #. It's 410-561-1215. They have the wrong hours. We're open M-Th from 10-7, Fri from 10-6, Sat from 9:30 to 6, and Sunday from 11-5.
Overpriced for quality, imo. Owner not friendly. Will not support a store that does not appreciate its customers.
There are places closer to home to shop for our birds and squirrels, but this shop offers some different selections. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They carry some unique gift items.
Hands down the BEST store for attracting birds to your yard. I have been feeding birds for decades now in Salt Lake City and have NEVER had as many varieties as I have had this year with the very special INEXPENSIVE fragrant foods that attract the birds as their sense of smell is heightened with Wild Bird Unlimited of Salt Lake foods and feeders.
WBU is a nationwide chain that manufactures high quality (and high-priced) outdoor bird feeding equipment. After going through several cheap feeders purchased at Lowes I bit the bullet and decided to upgrade to the first class section in feeders. Apparently WBU sells franchises, and someone ("Becky Brown") opened a franchise here. We are wild bird enthusiasts and recently stopped in this store. We had with us our three young children, ages 2, 4, and 6, in whom we are trying to inculcate a love of birds. We were planning to buy a bird bath, finch feeder, bird guide, and wind chimes for our new yard, so we went in. Big mistake! A middle-aged lady employee stalked my children from the moment we walked in the store.The children were not the least bit rowdy or unruly, but they WERE interested in learning about wild birds.
