I have been in the medical field for 24 years and have worked with many types of people and Ms. Wilcox definitely stands out. On the surface it is obvious that she is in over her head and lacks basic skills that all Physicians Assistants should possess. When she realizes that you have any sort of medical knowledge she gets defensive instead of collaborative. The exchange between patient and health care provider is best described as argumentative, accusatory and puerile.

Lacks basic skills. Overlooks blood pressure and weight information that is taken at the beginning of office visit. Refuses to listen to symptoms, but would rather diagnose patient by her own made up ideas. The tests are never reviewed with patients. They want you to call to get the results, but refuse to explain or share info with patient.

My experience with Doctor Wilcox was a joke, she was extremely rude, uncaring, and seemed to not even want to be there. I was refered to her for ongoing stomach issues I have been dealing with. She lectured because I have some tattoos and was very adamantly insinuating I was a drug addict because of this, none of this had anything to do with why i was there and what i was paying her for. Didn't listen to me at all and seemed more concerned about my appearance than actually helping me.
