This was a truly difficult year. With no prior experience in legal matters, I initially chose Mr. Doubles for his proximity to the jurisdiction of my case(s). Got me convicted of a crime I did not commit. * To be clear, I understand that it was the system much more than it was my representation and I was foolish to think I'd beat a charge in family courts just because I was innocent of the charges laid against me. That said, I wish I would had been encouraged to swallow my pride and accept the plea bargain offered me instead of brazenly heading into court only to be convicted to the fullest extent without an iota of evidence to support the plaintiffs case. Very nice but definitely not what I was expecting for my first experience with an attorney, to be in a situation that stressful and to feel like the person representing you doesn’t really seem interested in actually fighting the case is disheartening, again very nice individual but definitely have lost faith in our justice system
