It was the funeral of my best friends' father- a complicated man who departed far too soon. The funeral was superb, not a single tear in the room because we were all enjoying the hilarious eulogies and stories that the family had prepared, knowing that their father, son, chef, soldier, and mailman would've wanted it that way. Those perfect parts of the funeral, however, were only those coordinated by the family of the deceased.
