My moment 440 hearing aids are about 3 years old and the receivers never last more than 8 months before going out. Not the wax guard. They have been being replaced by my audiologist for no charge but now that my warranty is up, I will need to pay! I can’t believe that $2500 hearing aids need the receivers replaced every 6-12 months at a cost of around $90 a piece! I will never buy Widex hearing aids again!
Widex hearing Aids are the worst Aids I have ever owned. I have owned many. The ones I have now spend more time in repair than in my ears. I am back to my old favorite of 7 years Oticon. Will never recommend Widex

Have been wearing hearing aids for a while. Hearing aid businesses are generally hawking one brand. So, if you have issues with where you are going for hearing services, a change will result in ... yes, buying new hearing aids. Shy of 2 yrs ago I did the switch and yes, had to buy new hearing aids. Widex brand. In just shy of 2 yrs I have had more problems with these Widex than I did in the well over 2 yrs I had the previous brand.
