I always appreciate an honest mechanic who lets you know that the repair is a smaller job than it might appear. I had "service transmission now" and "service parking brake" messages appear on the display of my 2023 Bolt. They let me know it was actually just the parking brake actuator. They looked at the car on a Monday and had to order the part, but still got the repair done by noon the next day.
