Controversial opinion incoming…the reason why these small restaurants are failing around Tampa is because hospitality doesn’t exist anymore. It’s a treat to eat out these days. Normally, I love wicked Oak barbecue. The food is delicious. I always recommend them for the best barbecue, however, minutes ago at 3:32 pm on Father’s Day I received a call that they ran out of the sliced brisket, which I ordered four of at 11:48 this morning. The gentlemen, I spoke with was apologetic and told me they were very busy because it was Father’s Day to which I responded. This place was so good and so affordable. My boyfriend got the Tampa Two sandwich which was juicy and so good. I got a meat platter with brisket, ribs and chicken wings which was also delicious. The only thing I would’ve changed about the was that the ribs didn’t have very much meat on it, but the taste itself was great. All the different bbq sauces were so good and the tea was phenomenal.
