Staff and care is fantastic at this Hospital!
I can't thank the Wiaton emergency staff enough, especially Dr Sauders. My mother had so many symptoms that we thought were completely unrelated. Dr Saunders is both brilliant and thorough, providing a diagnosis and next steps for treatment. My family is so thankful for her time and effort. And thanks again to all the hard working and dedicated staff at Wiarton Emerg!!!!
I took my partner into Wiarton a few weeks ago with symptoms of severe vomiting, nausea and dizziness, from an existing condition, but this episode was severe. We first went to the Lions Head Hosptial, where we live, and were basically left in the entranceway, vomiting and sitting on the floor. When I finally asked about a wait time "I was abruptly told they were in the middle of a shift change and had no idea when we would get in. We left and drove directly to Wiarton Hospital.
