After not getting replies from other installers (and one not offering a free estimate), I submitted a request to Whyte Mechanical to replace our old Allied Engineering Company gas boiler (for hydronic heating) from the '80's on Jun 1st 2026. Michael from Whyte Mechanical did a really fantastic job replacing our water heater tank and installing a Moen Flo leak detection/auto shut off system for us. He was on time, tidy and organised, did everything carefully and was informative about what he did and how it all worked. He even took the time to go and get extra parts to add more stability to the pipes around our tank - extra effort that many plumbers might not have bothered to do.
