great cheap produce and food court giant middle eastern market with a very good produce section with cheapo prices. good ethnic foods that you can be hard to find/new, interesting if you just shop at ralphs or albertsons. check out the food court for a good spread of cheap ethnic fast foody options. 5% student discount!! This grocery store roxors, they have cheaper stuff because they aren't extorted by the corrupt communist anti-American unions that demand baggers get $30 and hour + benifits. The prices here are hella cheap compared to other places, especially the fruit. They have an okay seleciton of beers and wines too, overall just a top knotch place. yum! huuuge store with a great variety of various ethnic foods...ranging from middle eastern to asian to indian to mexican! do your groceries and pick up some yummmmy ready to eat food as well from the ethnic food court! just make sure you can decide what you want..with so many options its a tough one:).
Outstanding all-around grocery store! Very, very great independent store. There's another one in Anaheim Hills now that is larger and has even more selection of both American and ethnic food. This is not just a middle eastern store! Produce is affordable and the shelves are stocked with quality products from brands you know and brands you'll want to discover. I heard they are going to open a third store soon too.
What an amazing place for the ready made dishes. Such an amazing selection at great prices and huge servings!
A lot of options available for homesick Persians
RecommendedLove the fresh Persian Bread as you walk-in. Chicken Koobideh at the Persian To-Go in the food court is delicious. Great inexpensive produce, especially herbs.
It's ok. Sometimes the meat doesn't smell very fresh. Prices vary a lot. The produce is ok, but the produce area is packed out with people usually.
