I responded to Enis’s Facebook Marketplace ad for a used DeWalt 20V string trimmer. He handed me a battery, I inserted it, confirmed the motor ran, paid $60, and took it home. Within 30 minutes of light trimming, the motor developed a strong burning plastic smell and began smoking. When I contacted Enis the same day, I told him the tool he sold me failed me almost immediately. False advertising and zero customer service. I saw a bagger for a riding mower listed on Facebook marketplace by searching for the exact part number. On Home Depot it's listed at $520 from Cub Cadet and this guy had it listed for $350 (30% off) and most importantly*brand new in box*. I called ahead and confirmed it was "brand new in box" and drove over an hour to get it. When I arrived I see the seller pulling boxes out of a storage garage.
