This review is written by Barbara Burk. I am not sure why it shows my husband's name but I went to whole note today and was going to use a Groupon coupon. When I walked in the sitting area was cluttered and smelled dirty. I waited for a massage therapist to come out as he was busy with another client and I was early. He did not show up for the massage, and didn’t respond after I called him to see what was going on. Other people have had this problem. Tried to get a refund from Groupon- I am sure I will end up eating the money
The massage itself was good, slightly better than ok, but the experience as a whole was just uncomfortable. Alex arrived late, short of breath, and stated “hang on, I need to take my heart meds”. The intake took about 15 mins and we got started about 25 mins after my “start” time. I felt like he did a good job loosening up my neck and mid back but missed the memo on my low back and feet. Terrible customer service and won’t honor your Groupon if someone buys it as a gift to you if you’ve been there before. He knew who I was and that I was using a Groupon and let me drive 40 minutes just to tell me that he would only massage me if I paid for another massage. This was a gift for Mother’s Day, and my mom, unknowing I have been there once before, bought it for me and Alex couldn’t have cared less to honor it or to figure something else out.
