Working side by side is one of the best ways to judge a character. I like Paul, enjoy his company and trust him. We shared a laugh, I got my lumber, he moved some of his stock for a very reasonable price. As needs be, I’ll happily drive that bit further to buy from Paul, spare the the landfill to get materials for projects for years to come.
The knights of recycling/repurposing. I don’t know when Paul took holy orders or answered the call of the Salvage gods but he did and is walking in the carbon footprints of angels. He has saved(!) so much ostentatious excess of buildings past from landfills. Appliances, wood, building products of all kinds, plants, you name it given a new lease on life. I have dealt twice with Paul, both times the transactions have been positive.I’m big on recycling materials so Paul’s business model of salvaging materials is very meaningful to me, in this throw away world that many of us live in.
