Discovery at Whittier Commons is a beautiful place to live. The Executive Director, Joshua, is an amazing leader and loves his residents (and staff) as though they were his own family. This community is run with a lot of love!
I visited here last month. The receptionist was very welcoming. They have a lobby/waiting room for guest with very comfortable seating and fresh coffee. Discovery Commons went through a beautiful renovation. The hallways are very spacious and free of clutter. Each resident has a glass case outside their room that displays things they like which adds a heartwarming personalized touch. Discovery Commons is a truly special place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how warm and welcoming the environment is. The facility itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully set up to help residents feel at home and comfortable. What really stands out, though, is the staff—especially Frances Reyes, the Memory Care Director, and Reyna Hernandez, the Resident Care Coordinator. These two are absolutely amazing.
