We had Red Emperor fish with salad and chips. Excellent batter and generous helping of fish with chips.
Amazing place. The bartender Robyn and Front of House Markus work for 4 people alone! Probably management should hire more ppl, or give these 2 legends a pay raise
What happened, food used to be great but now they can't even get chips right, fish tacos bland. NB for owner. Thx for taking an interest the visit was tue 7/9/25 and the other item ordered was red emperor and the crumb coat was soft and oily the chips were soggy not crisp at all and the fish tacos had no flavour. Service was good though.
So disappointing we are locals & frequently support & dine in our beautiful Whitsundays. Ordered the Salmon main meal ~ Grilled Salmon, coconut sweet potatoe mash ~ chargrilled broccolini with crispy leek. Sounds great! Not! I've had this meal over the years & rate it the Best! Tonight no coconut sweet potatoe mash no chargrilled broccolini & no crispy leek or crispy skin salmon. When I questioned~ told it would be better next time:((
A group of 9 if us came recently for dinner and all agreed it was probably our favourite spot to visit in Airlie beach,the staff were friendly helpful and patient,the food was excellent,lots of different options ,than the normal same old meals you get in a pub ,really loved my seafood lasagna also catering for vegetarians,gluten free etc ,my husband said it was the best pizza he’d ever had ,considering he’s old and Italian that’s a big statement,my cocktails were delicious and affordable but my favourite aspect was the magic... read more
