Whitson builders barely built my mom and dads home. When I say barely I mean they cut all the corners you could cut. One of the many things is not properly insulating or sealing which allowed mold to grow EVERYWHERE!! Which went on to make my Dad deathly Ill… doctors have now found 4 times of mold in his blood. It Also was making my mom sick…. All because of their terrible work. Below are just some of the many pictures that have been taken. Who knows how many other lives they have affected. Shame on you Whitson builders.
I do not know if Dustin Blount and Ed Whitson with Whitson Builders are still working together or not, but be careful trusting either one of them with a contract or your money! Ed Whitson owes a lot of people and businesses money in this area. It was brought to my attention that he is from Tennessee, and it was said that he left that area for the same reasons.
Whitson Builders is not a company that you should choose to build your home or purchase a modular home from. Dustin Blount does the talking you into the purchase, and Ed Whitson takes your money without you getting the home you truly wanted! Dustin Blount has been accused of illegal charges with money fraud in the past. I would never recommend Whitson Builders or Dustin Blount to anyone!
We have waited over two years for our home to be built. The only thing that has been accomplished is the pilings. Recently mr Whitson wanted to cancel our original contract and up the price by $80,000.00 for the same build. Now, Mr Whitson and employees refuse to answer his employees refuse to answer our calls, email and text. I regret the day we signed with his company.
