Best ice cream I’ve ever try… was late to take a picture before I ate it
Having just moved to the area, I wanted ice cream. Whits Frozen Custard was close by so we gave it a whirl. It's in a very nice area of Tampa. When entering, it's small, not much seating at all. There are also 2 tables outside to sit at. We ordered a few items and sat down. The frozen Custard was delicious! They have take home ice cream sandwiches that are huge and look amazing! Also take home pints and gallons. This place is definitely worth a stop and we will be back when we're in this part of town again.
Lacking even the most basic phaticities, the adult woman working there acted like my presence was an inconvenience she had to endure. I felt rushed, unwelcome, and honestly relieved just to get out the door and away from her. If I’m dropping twenty bucks on mediocre ice cream, the bare minimum I expect is not to feel like I’m bothering the staff… especially right before they flip the screen around to ask for a tip.
Only a few base flavors then mix in your toppings but custard is delicious and high quality.
