When we moved to our home in Pittston, we changed dentists to save an extra 20 minutes driving time. Wasn’t worth it. I’ll take the extra driving time to see Dr. Whitney. He and his staff are the best.
My experiences at W. Whitney's office could not have been worse. A numbing shot that caused severe facial pain and double eyesight. W. Whitney cut my lip with a burr, said oops, walked away and I got directions to Rite Aid for an antiseptic from the assistant. More serious problems caused by W. Whitney: A questionable crown according to a specialist. A bridge that had to be taken out twice and damaged a virgin tooth beyond repair which will cause lasting aftereffects. Was denied an appointment that had been scheduled for 6 months because "my appointment was an hour ago". Was called twice by their automation system to confirm my appointment at the exact time I showed up. Played voicemail for the staff which stated my appointment was at 12PM for them to still inform me at my appointment was apparently not at that time. They told me they had called a later appointment to come in early to cover the empty slot yet never took the time to call me to see where I was or why I was "late". This is t... read more
