My mom had lived here for 3 years and the facilities are wonderful, but it’s the staff that stands out. They are caring and thoughtful and have a knack for making even the most difficult transitions happen with compassion.
Transitioning a loved one from their home into a care facility is emotionally challenging. From first contact with Steph, we felt at ease with our choice and comfortable with our decision. We liked that Whitney Place offers a respite stay on a temporary basis to see if this setting fits our loved one’s needs. I have been a resident at Whitney Place assisted-living for two weeks and I have found it to be a wonderful environment for me and my needs. All staff members are empathetic, helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. They are here to do all they can to make you comfortable and to be sure that you’re happy in your surroundings.
