Steer clear of the Lawyer. She does not have your best interest at heart only for the money she can make. 4 years beyond from her doing the estate for a friend, I am still mad.
Do not hire Vicki Thomas. I made the mistake of trusting her to provide guardianship over my incapacitated sister. The original paperwork was incorrect and had to be brought to the judge again, costing more money. Guardianship requires annual court renewal, but Ms. Thomas was more than 9 months overdue. NINE MONTHS of me calling her, emailing her, everyday, without so much as a single correspondence except for billing notices! Vicki Whitlow Thomas is a mess and will drag your case down no matter how much you pay her. Would be 5 negative if they would actually let you express your true experience here. She has skimpy if any legal training, practically no professional skills (but all you will hear is how experienced she thinks she is), no self-control or reasonable judgement in her non-stop obsessive talk that she will not stop even for you.
