When my husband passed away Melissa & Emma were so incredibly helpful. They walked my family & I through the process. All our questions were answered & everything was explained. The funeral & burial was so compassionately handled. Our family really appreciated the care & compassion.

My mom had chosen this funeral home because they had done my dad’s 28 years ago. From 1997 to 2025, no change in service. Still absolutely wonderful, kind, caring individuals!!! Melissa and Emma were there to answer all of my questions as I was coming from GA. They were so kind and helped guide me all the way. And Mr. Kanapaux came to my mom’s service! We used the Rockaway location for the funeral services for my mother two months ago, and her older sister 10 years ago. The staff was compassionate and kind, and informative. I could make a few comments about some things I would change, but overall, they were extremely diligent to our needs and request. They also were very receptive to review and discuss any of the details. I did not feel rushed as we went through the planning, as they gave us plenty of time to make decisions. Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home was amazing to work with when my grandmother passed away. The service, compassion, and attention to detail truly honored our Nana. We cannot thank them enough for their caring professionalism during this difficult time.
