This shop is a joke. I called ahead on a Thursday to this shop based on a referral from someone I trust mechanically to address a code being thrown by my 2014 Ram 1500. I am aware of the part involved, and the related systems well enough to speak to the shop coordinator and the tech, and asked if this was something they could handle. I have been using Whitey's for the last 6 years and have nothing but positive things to say, foremost being that they are extremely honest. Beyond that, I have never had any issues with repairs done and they are completed within the specified time period. The staff are all very courteous and pleasant and are are willing to take a quick look/assessment if you just drive in without a scheduled appointment. I would not take my vehicle anywhere else!
Whitey's Honest Car Repair In A Rip Off Town – In a Field that is known for ripping people off, I have finally found honesty, and true customer service. HONEST, PROFESSIONAL AND SKILLED I wouldn't take my vehicle to anyone but Whitey's. I don't know how they can do is so well when others are so inept but this place stands out as over and above the rest!
I love this shop. – They were recommended highly by 2 different people and I've had the same exceptional service that they've had. The staff asks relevant questions and are very responsible about letting me know what to expect. I've never been surprised by any cost overages or unrequested repairs (but they have surprised me with a few courtesy fixes). Repairs seem to be very affordable and are well done. Great Job and Fantastic Service – These guys were receptive to listening to me describe the problem I had with the car. They asked some more questions about the way it was driving and acting and were able to pinpoint the issue. The problem was the intake manifold gasket which has been a problem for the type of car I drive. They had charged me much less to fix the job than the few other places I called for quotes. Whitey's did an excellent job on my car and I will definitely recommend them. Thanks guys - Great work !
One of the most competent and honest around amongst a large fireld of losers! – I have used Whitey's auto repair since 1993 when I first moved out to Scottsdale. Whitey is one of the most competent and capable auto repairmen out there! Caution.! – Caution shop performs unneeded work and will bill you for it. Shop has very little consideration for customer service or your car. I confronted one of the managers/owners about the services and they became very hostile. Be very careful when taking your car here.
The best decision I ever made! Honest, ethical and fair priced the last time I was there. Whitey's history goes back many, many years in Scottsdale and the station has always been good and knowledgeable. If Whitey is not there then all us old timers in Scottsdale hopefully don't lose a great business.
