Our electric went out on Sunday because of the heavy winds . I contacted REMC thru their convenient app and within an hour the crews responded and restored our electricity. I had Duke Energy in the past and it would have taken them 3 days to resolve the problem. REMC is the Best …. Thank you for responding and restoring our power so quickly …. !!!
I tried FOUR times to reach someone to begin service at an address we are purchasing and waited on hold for 20 minutes each time and then the phone cut off and I had to try again! The 800# customer service agent tried to call them too and also couldn’t get through! Ridiculous! Yes, it was during business hours on a weekday.
They block roads off with no warning to the public it would not be so bad with warning and if they are actually working from 9 am to 3 pm monday through Friday but that is not the case they stand around talking while the road is blocked 3 out of the 5 days been this way for 3 weeks now it's going to be another month of blocked off not very happy
