Something to clear up is that they do not call with a reminder prior to your appointment. When so many doctors offices do this today, others might expect it. I did and wish they would do so. Still, I've thought the staff and dental hygienists have been perfect in their service when I've been there as a patient. Can't complain about that at all.
I feel the need to post my experiences as well. I have been a patient of this dentist for years. I have had nothing but great experiences and dental care for my entire family. The office waiting room feels like a living room, not that I have ever spent much time in it, and the people who work there are professional at all times. In addition, Dr. Emery (or her staff) always gives a courtesy call to be reassured that all is well after appointments. My son had a tooth pulled and he never even knew he's been given 3 shots! On reading the previous review, I thought that I should post mine since it was the total opposite. My appointment was scheduled at a time that was convenient for me and was not changed. When I arrived, I found the office to be very clean and inviting. The staff was great and the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very accomodating and told me step by step what she was doing. This dental office is poorly staffed and managed. Not only was my first appt. rescheduled due to a scheduling mistake on their part, I never received a courtesy phone call to confirm my upcoming appt. When I called on my way to the morning appt, I was told my appt. was earlier and that I would have to reschedule since I would be late. Also, they lied about ever having confirmed my appt. by courtesy phone call the previous day. Mind you, my appt. was set for 9:20, but somehow their records show 9AM.
