I purchased a lifetime subscription a few years ago and they will no longer honor it. Total ripoff.

I am thoroughly disappointed with WhiteSmoke Inc. as after repeated requests to the WhiteSmoke Support office to correct a technical issue, I was not successful in resolving my problem. In addition, while I was complaining to WhiteSmoke Inc, my credit card (Mastercard) was charged in August 2023 by WhiteSmoke to pay for an additional year of service. I have communicated to WhiteSmoke that I no longer want the WhiteSmoke service because of the lack of action to solve my current issue, but no one has responded to my requests.

I ordered a 2 year subscription to whitesmoke as part of a bundle I was only able to login once. It was annoying and inefficient. I didn't bother again until near the end of my subscription to give them another chance to which I found there was no login and I had to contact customer DISSERVICE. The absolutely UNHELPFUL rep, Micaela, dragged out the 'help' process' responding only once a day with further questions to 'verify' my subscription while prominently stating in each email "they'll give me a 3 year subscription for on... read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY even though they are listed with other top grammar checkers. Their product is OK, but the company is not. My most recent experience: they sent me a license key and told me to install it to replace my old license. Two days after doing so, my license expired. THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO SUPPORT TICKETS OR PHONE CALLS. Now here is what upsets me: two years ago I purchased at a much higher price the "Premium Lifetime License."
