Staff was very mean and seemed racist the receptionist seemed annoyed and the guy who took me to the "recovery area" seemed to not like me and i dont know why i was polite and respectful. I got 6-8 extractions including my wisdom teeth and a filling done and they didn't even prescribe anything for postoperative pain. They told me to just buy my own ibuprofen and Tylenol. The recovery area is also just a creepy hallway. I will say that the anesthesiologist was very nice and communicative.
Never go to this location. They discriminate and low-key belittle on disability. They do not take "government funded patients," so they also discriminate on economic grounds. I had a bad experience with another dental office and they gaslighted me on more than one occasion. They were a much better office in the Timmins Square. After reading some of the negative experiences others have had with dental sedation for children I was very anxious. The power had been out this morning and they were running on a generator. My daughter is also on amoxicillin for a UTI and they warned me that it did slightly increase the chance of side effects. But we preceded since she has been in a lot of pain and waited months for this appointment and only got in through a cancelation list. Was very insistent my husband was to be put under, despite my husband not feeling well with a cold at the time dentist said and I quote “sounds well enough to me”. Weeks later was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. He was also very ignorant and rude, handed my husband two pills and wouldn’t disclose what it was and how much. After my husband had put one in his mouth and was nervous taking another. Said that it wouldn’t work, told him to spit it out. Then told him what it was. Obviously we didn’t proceed.
