Attended a wedding reception here. Pre-dinner cocktails and d'oeuvres, reception, and going away brunch the next day. Very impressed with the friendly staff. Bartenders and servers in particular. Food and drinks was great. Reception room and dance area nicely sized. Bathrooms featured real towels. Nice touch. Beautiful location. Although I did not stay here, the grounds looked impeccable with a grand resort in the mountains feel. It's close to town where you could take a nice walk there. Beautiful lodge!! We had a 3 bedroom condo. Each person has their own room and their own bathroom. There was a full kitchen and we cooked. Grocery stores close by. Beautiful Deck with view of the mountains. Lots of hiking trails close by as well as the village of Lake Placid. It was great to get in the hot tub after a day of hiking. S'mores at the fire pit before bed was a nice way to end the day. I wish I would have known before I got there that they have pickleball courts, I would have brought my gear (next time). We had a fantastic stay at Whiteface Lodge. The property strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and luxury. Our suite was beautifully designed with an Adirondack-inspired feel and included a fireplace and full kitchen, which made it feel both cozy and upscale.
