Great place for family vacation. The private beach with boat house wonderful. We rented a pontoon boat with Captain Ruby which was fabulous. The lake is shallow by beach which has huge wagon filled toys for kids to play. We enjoyed kayaking, and canoeing in the lake too. We loved the Fire pits at night for making s’mores and just relaxing. The outdoor/indoor pool was great. They have several hot tubs to relax in. The setting at Whiteface Lodge is SPECTACULAR. My wife who is dairy and gluten free was accommodated satisfactorily, and she enjoyed her meal. Me on the other hand, did not have a satisfactory meal. The Ribeye steak at $67 was thin, overcooked and loaded with fat. What a disappointment. I was shocked at what I was served. If you're thinking about eating at Whiteface Lodge, DON'T ORDER STEAK!!!

Very beautiful... a typical wooden lodge, quiet, spacious rooms, any activities possible, Children friendly, fitness super, delicious food. Services quick and professional, very friendly staff. A picturesque piece of North America at its best.
