Great ski area! Been going here for almost 50 years. Great skiing, lots of runs, no lines at the chairlifts.
We had a great day skiing Whitecap Mountain! First time skiing here. It's been on my list since the 70's. Finally! Quaint and very unique ski resort. All these Midwest Ski Resorts have their own charm. This one is very different than most. You just have to ski it to understand.
This a wonderful ski area in northern Wisconsin. Our family has been coming for years. It's a huge area to ski, with plenty of runs from easy to expert. The two mountains allow skiers to spread out so there are seldom lines. Due to a fire a few years ago, the main chalet burned down, but is starting to come back with improvements to the "Wine Hut".
I want the Cap to be a huge success! That being said, we were told dinner was served until 9 only to be told at 8:02 that they stopped taking orders at 8 because the kitchen was backed up. Walked by the open kitchen at 8:30 and it's clean swept, burners off, done. To say the least I was annoyed. Also, why close the bar at 9 on a Saturday?
