Looking for the best place for live music in Little Rock? Your search ends here at The White Water Tavern. Unarguably the busiest live music venue in the city, the WWT (as regulars call it) has live acts by local or international bands every other day. The small size of the venue makes the audience feel closer to the bands on stage, while the affordable beer keeps the energy going. And if you're in the mood to chat up with some one, then the friendly bar staff will make sure you're don't feel lonely.

how a real bar should be – i am a long term patron of the bar, and i love everything about it. the decor is old beer signs, canoes hanging from the ceiling, and graffiti. the lighting is dim and it can get a bit smoky, but it is the perfect intimate venue for seeing a local band or small touring national act. beer is cheap, and there is a good mixof generations there, although it definitely caters towards the "scenester type".
Dive Bar – Whitewater is for beer and whiskey drinkin. It's a little dirty (don't get anything from the kitchen--have you looked back there?), but it usually has a good band playing and they don't usually have covers. Upstairs in the attic there's a pool table. Definitely a lot of rough edges, but that's what makes it Whitewater.
