I first rinsed the car and then used a sponge to wash and scrub it, because after driving up from Calgary the bumper was covered with lots of bug remains. I paused for a bit, and then a staff member came out and told me that if I wanted to wipe the car I had to do it outside, since there were people waiting behind me. So I moved the car out, but it was really sunny, and the foam and water dried up very quickly. I couldn’t wash properly. I saw no instructions on the keypad or anywhere in the car wash bay. I tapped my Visa card to get it started. My car was dusty and I washed it in under five minutes. When I shut off the water and hit the X on the keypad, it said $7.50 CAN. Later, as I was cleaning out the interior, the attendant came out and said he shut off the timer after 11 minutes. He said it would charge me $1.50 per minute. When I explained, I had only used it for five minutes and the keypad said $7.50 CAN, he said that often happens. I assumed he was ... read more
