About this business
White Satin started in 2010 with the goal of bringing something unique and fresh to the world of bridal fashion in Ottawa. Since then, we have grown into a beautiful bridal house, giving us the chance to create a wonderfully intimate and exclusive experience for brides of all sizes and budgets. In 2017, we moved to our current location in a beautiful stone house in Kanata which has allowed us the space to carry an even wider selection of Ottawa-exclusive dress designers for our brides.

I was initially drawn to White Satin because of the designers they carried (Jenny Yoo, Rita Vinieris), which were hard to find in the Ottawa area. I’m so glad I found the cute brick house because Shannan immediately welcomed me into the White Satin family and soon enough bridal appointments felt like catching up with old friends instead of wedding chores. Had such a wonderful experience at WSB. The staff was inviting, professional and knowledgeable. Dominique was patient in answering all my questions and brainstorming ideas. She was able to narrow down my dress dress in only 4 tries (miracle). Very affordable for the experience and customer service provided. I would go back to each new husband I acquire (hopefully just the one).

I had the absolute best experience finding my wedding dress at White Satin! Dom, Shannan and Siu were amazing to work with and were so incredibly helpful from start to finish. I told Dom that I was interested in a dress with sleeves and after I tried on a dress with thin straps, she suggested that sleeves could be custom made in-house by Siu. I cannot thank the team enough for helping bring my vision to life and for creating my dream dress!
