We did the campground to River Rd trip. The first third of the trip was awesome. It was quiet and serene, with all kinds of birds and other wildlife. The second half, after the portage, was packed full of large groups of tubers that were drunk and obnoxious. We had to navigate our way through and around them, even dragging our kayak around shallow areas while they stayed in their spot screaming and getting more hammered by the minute.
