My mom was here over 4 years. The Hospice nurse told me ..when I was touring nursing homes...that White Oak Manor was old but they take good care of the residents . And WOW...do they ever!! The staff has become my family. I have never had ANY complaints. The food is delicious! The activities are many and joyful. I felt such relief knowing my mom was well taken care of.

We have had mom at White Oak Manor for three months now and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the treatment and care she is receiving. Having had her at another facility closer to home for over a year, where the standard of care left much to be desired, when I walked into White Oak I was immediately impressed with how clean and well kept it is. The dietary department is the worst! All they are concerned about is appearance and money. Not the great experience and nutrition that they could offer to their much deserved residents. My most detailed thought at the moment, is how the can opener blade must be clean for DHEC. I pray every day for better care, comfort, and understanding for these precious residents. It is a sad situation. I worked there 4 years ago and it still haunts me.
