I use to work here and I quit because of how unsafe and unsanitary everything was. I was scared Gene was going to make someone sick and I didn't want to be the one serving what caused it. The food is not handled properly, things get cross contaminated ALL THE TIME AND EVERY DAY! Meats got thawed out on the floor in back room aka his office/food and wine storage. Theres so much more... So PLEASE do NOT eat here for ur own safety and ur families!!!
My girlfriend and I were at the beach for a nice girl weekend and decided to come here for dinner. As we were seated we were wondering why we were the only ones in the place at dinner time. Once the meals came, all was revealed!! $25 10 oz new york stip that was freezer burned. If i'm going to pay that much money for a steak then it can at least be a fresh hand cut steak. Pretty good. I liked this restaurant. I thought it was a tad bit overpriced, but I really enjoyed the food and the location. I would recommend. They usually have a coupon in the Dining Attractions book so for a buy one get one, you can't really beat it.
Our daughter got married on Emerald Isle Beach and we wanted to have a small get together after the ceremony at our beach house. This restaurant was recommended to me by the Realtor that we rented our beach house off of. I just ordered the meat lasagna, salad and their homemade bread. It was delicious! Everyone raved about it. This is really a great place to eat. The atmosphere is charming and the help is very friendly.
Don't recommend This restaurant is over priced for the quality of food you get. The owner is also the chef. He does not have the savvy that's needed to run a restaurant with such a name like it's elegant, which is definately is not. I do not recommend this restaurant. It's bathrooms are also much to be desired - filthy!
