I left White Light 10 months ago. My experience there was interesting. I cannot complain. I went there with a goal of restarting my life and that is exactly what has happened for me. Of course, there were some things that happened there, but you cannot control the behavior of others - you have to focus on you. If you go there and focus on your own sobriety, you will succeed. So they decided to come pick up my paranoid schizophrenic husband on Christmas day in Southpoint ohio (2hours away)while I was at my aunts. They only thing in His system is THC and his prescibed meds. We have been looking for him and he just called saying he has been asking them to bring him back home and they refuse to. This place is very well run and has absolutely changed my life. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction or anyone who has a family member in that position. I wanted to add this to my review now a year after leaving Whitelight. I'm still sober and living a life with a newfound sence of peace and meaning. My family is whole and my life better than I could have imagined all thanks to their commitment to helping people like me. Thank you to everyone there.
I seriously advise that you consider going elsewhere for treatment. It is a scam, and is not in any way interested in your continued health or well-being. I lost my job because of the negligence of those staffed here. They submitted incomplete paperwork to my employer, failing to give both my name -- yes, my name -- and a return to work date on the forms that were provided. Ugh! I hate to say this place is a complete scam !!! Before arriving you speak to representatives which is a third party service that convinces you that they have a trail, pool, full sized basketball court, a state of the art gym etc. But upon getting there the place has nothing! They have one microwave, no full kitchen, snacks are not what they say they are. Their food is catered from an hospital so the food isn’t really good at all.
