my 13-year-old daughter was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis when she was eleven and a half years old. She had an S curve that was 35° at the top and 45°at the bottom. She progressed to a 90° curve top and bottom in less than one year. Dr. White performed spinal fusion surgery on her November 2019. He was the best doctor we had ever had. My sister saw Dr. White for many years. He consistently told her scoliosis was "not that bad" and that she was exaggerating the amount of pain she was in. After many years of being fairly miserable, she finally sought a second opinion and was told the curvature of her spine was so bad her rib cage was running the risk of puncturing her lungs. Our appointment lasted 3 minutes, after a 15 min wait. Said there was nothing he could do for my son's scoliosis then told us he would like to see us in 6 months. Useless and bedside manner. Arrogant. Can't believe I wasted a co-pay on this.
