The serviceman, Leo, was on time, thorough, and extremely competent. He discovered that the chimney storm collar was never sealed after installation. This enabled water intrusion into the fireplace and caused metal fireplace items to rust. He sealed the storm collar and removed all of the rust. He also swept the chimney and thoroughly cleaned the inside of the fireplace. When he left, you could not detect that he was ever inside our home.
