Stayed here in Wren Cottage which was a delight. Loved everything about it. Clean, cosy and had all that I needed. Martin the host was very helpful.
Stayed in a lovely little cottage - Griers Cottage and the lady host was very kind. Not being unkind to these people who kindly let us stay in their cottage... they do need to sort out their cleaners it really does need a deep clean throughout and a new bed and bedroom decor. The whole place was cobwebs, dusty and it felt greasy and the bathroom was damp and smelly - the outside seating was dirty and the shed was full of people's old rubbish - eg pizza boxes and rubbish food bags and rats. We had a very nice stay in Wren Cottage (couple with 1 dog) in July. Liked the location and inside the flat we had everything we needed. Parking spaces are usually 1-2 streets away but not too far as there are a few set of steps connecting those streets. Weather was also good! Would definitely recommend!
We had a lovely stay at wren cottage Martin and Sandra were very accommodating we will be back in the summer with our little dog 🐶 Rosie x
Our second visit to Stables Cottage with our Whippet Harry. He’s happy & relaxed here. If he’s happy, we’re happy. It’s home from home and has everything you could need. The big plus point for us is that it is set back from the main road while having easy access. Virtually no passing foot traffic. Fabulous if you have a reactive dog. It gets a 10 out 10 from us and Harry.
