My advice is to try a different DR. – went to see this dr. for a sore throat issue. the dr. had the lab guy swab my throat. they said i did not have strep throat. 30 min later [after waiting for results] and they sent me on my way. when i went to pay my 'copay', i asked, is the dr. not even going to look in my mouth? they were reluctant and said, 'but you dont have an appt, we fit you in to check to see if you had strep throat and you don't.' and i was shocked, because my tonsil was bigger than a GOLF ball, no exxagerrating. i had had a sore throat for over a week already and i tried to explain that to the office staff. it's unfortunate that my relationship with this dr. had to end, but i DO NOT want to see a dr. that does not even 'care' to look in my mouth [if i am complaining of a sore throat]. i do not recommend her for this reason. maybe if she would have apologized to me & fit me in or looked in my mouth..... i would have been able to overlook this, but because she was so 'uncaring', i chose to go to a different dr. the dr i went to, fit me in right away, diagnosed me with tonsilitis and gave me an antibiotic. i was better in 2 days.
on a side note: i feel she is very judgemental instead of openminded. not a very kind natured woman, at least professionally. personally, she may be very nice. i have only seen her as a patient.
