He is the 2nd best Dr I've had at HFSP. Dr khorasani left and Dr whitaker became my new cmt specialist. He is very caring & compassionate. He truly cares & wants what's best. I'm so glad he is specialist.
I would give Dr Whitaker 20 stars , if more stars were available. He is very knowledgeable, and has one of the best bedside manners I have encountered, and he talks to you throughout the test. He also jokes and makes you feel comfortable. He is professional, and considerate of any discomfort you are feeling from whatever the problem is that sent you to him. Don't be afraid of an EMG. It's not that bad at all.
The worst!! Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. this man loves to hear himself talk even if he’s wrong without even doing testing to diagnose you. He’ll just give you his best guess and send you home with a fatal diagnosis. So glad we trusted our instincts and went to Yale after seeing this man. He should not be in practice. called to cancel follow up and talked to the receptionist who seemed to know all about our situation. Awful experience. I came to Dr. Whitaker desperate for answers of an illness I have been struggling with for years now. He suggested it was all in my head and I left the office crying and just as desperate as I came in. Absolutely no help whatsoever. We waited 2 months and drove 2 hours for this appointment. If you’re a women, I suggest you don’t go to him. He’s likely to tell you “you’re crazy”.
Exceptional care. Excellent communicator. Very global assessments of patients. He is kind and understanding. He answers all questions honestly. Highly recommend- one of a kind!
