The waiting times are absolutely horrible. We waited over 12 hrs, just to be moved to another waiting area for several hours. It isnt the staffs fault, but this is absolutely horrible. Sitting in pain, waiting for someone to see you as no doctors available
A good hospital once you get past A&E. The staff are great and work very hard but the waiting times are too long. Poorly babies and young children waiting for hours on end to be seen. Very upsetting to see young children asleep across chairs in the early hours of the morning who had been waiting since early evening . Shouldn't be seeing this in 2025 🥺
Told to report back to reception if symptoms got worse.obs were taken again and told we would be put on list for pain relief. Almost five hrs later recieved paracetamol just before leaving. Total time in a&e 11 1/2 hrs 1 week later now still awaiting results from chest xray check for clots!!! Carry on nursing
The service is really bad,there is currently a wait time of 12 hours and longer,I spent 12 hours yesterday with my son here,they have no clue what wrong with him,the on all doctor sent him for possible kidney stones,infection and a weak pulse we got out around midnight after being there is 11.30am yesterday to be told come back today for a scan on his kidneys,and he would not be here that long we got here at 8.30am for the scan then back to triage to be sent to another part of the hospital to wait to see a doctor yet again t... read more
